Sustainable: Built Into Every Fiberglass Planter
Durability is a consideration when investing in planters. Fiberglass planters are outstanding when it comes to long term use, often lasting 50 years or longer. "Fiberglass" is composed of glass fibers and resin.
When molded into planters, they have several advantages over materials like cement, wood or clay. Fiberglass planters are highly resistant to extreme temperatures and ultraviolet rays, making them a great choice for year-round outdoor use. Unlike clay, ceramic or concrete, fiberglass planters resist cracking because of their superior tensile strength.
Fiberglass's inherent light weight when compared to other material make them a natural choice for rooftop applications. Because fiberglass is inert, it will not corrode or rust and does not support fungus and will not rot.
